According to the latest Rasmussen Report, Romney currently has a slight lead in Virginia.
Coming off of what many think are a strong debate performance, Romney is currently polling at 49% to Obama’s 48%.
While not a large difference, Romney and Obama had been tied until the conventions took place. After the conventions, Obama took a relatively decisive lead for such a close race in the swing state.
The Romney campaign may be showing signs of making a case to win the state if it can continue this progress and build off of the lates jobs report. The economy in Virginia has remained relatively stable, but many Virginians are anxious to keep their economy growing.
