Yesterday, Romney made one final run in Iowa. The state remains an uphill battle for the hopeful candidate, but that hasn’t stopped him from running in full force in the hawkeye state.
Sunday’s event saw some of Iowa’s most prominent republicans lining up to throw their support to the former governor. The list included Rep. Tom Latham (R-Iowa ), Republican congressional candidate John Archer (Iowa), Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) and Iowa Gov. Terry Branstad (R)
The speakers had one focused message: Obama has failed as a president. This has been the main battle-cry of republicans nationwide, and they’re sticking to it in these final hours.
Romney ended the rally with promises of compromise and bi-partisanship, saying “On Nov. 7, we’ll get to work. We’ll reach across the street to that neighbor with that other yard sign, and I’ll reach across the aisle to people in the other party.”
