President Barack Obama pulled out two big guns for his last rally in Ohio. Celebrities Bruce Springsteen and Jay-Z brought out over 15,000 people for an appearance at Columbus’ Nationwide Arena.
Jay-Z and Springsteen altered hit songs specifically for the Obama campaign. Jay-Z changed his controversial hit, “99 problems” into a political jingle. “I got 99 problems but Mitt ain’t one,” he sang. Springsteen created a personalized campaign song for Obama, titled after the Obama motto “Forward”. Both superstars contributed to a large turnout of Democratic voters for Obama’s win in Ohio.
