Obama Wins Re-Election From Taking OH and PA

Mitt Romney had hoped for an upset in the Keystone state, where he began a strong campaign late in the election. Pennsylvania has gone Democratic for the past five elections and has 20 electoral votes. George H.W. Bush in 1988, was the last Republican to Carry Penn.

At 1:02 EST Nov. 7, 2012, Mitt Romney Conceded the presidential race to President Obama.

“I have just called President Obama to Congratulate him on his victory”

Romney told his supporters in Boston. He gave his thanks to his wife Ann, saying “She would have been a wonderful first lady.”

Romney continued to say while congratulating Obama “I believe in America… Pray for Him, and pray for this great nation.”

At 11:25pm It is Official: Barack Obama has been re-elected as the 44th president of the United States.
