New Hampshire Sends First All Female Delegation

New Hampshire voters created a new first on Tuesday as they will send the first all-female delegation to D.C.

Bloomberg reports the breakdown of the various roles now filled by women,” New Hampshire voters on Election Day decided that women would represent them best, making their state the first in the U.S. to put female politicians in control of the governor’s office and the entire congressional delegation.”
Social issues continue to make a huge difference in the electorate,”… scientific and anecdotal evidence reveal that those divisive social issues – abortion, same-sex marriage, contraception, guns and Planned Parenthood – helped create a cavernous gender gap that Republican male candidates couldn’t overcome,” the  Nashau Telegraph reports.

As voters decided who to send as their representatives, divisive social issues seem to be giving Democrats an edge and are giving Republicans worry for the future.
